Listen
Commissioned by Mauka Productions, SoundinKube wrote and produced the original songs and the complete background score for Carkhana, a vertical OTT series. Music was produced and engineered by Karandeep Sodhi and Rakht, with songs and score developed as one continuous musical system for the format.
Creative direction
A restrained, tension-forward score built to hold attention in a short vertical format where every second of music has to work, with original songs that carry the series identity beyond the screen.
Approach
Songs and score were developed together rather than in sequence, so the musical themes introduced in the songs return in the scoring and hold the series together across episodes.
